What is a Stock and How Do You Make Money from It?

How is a Stock Price Formed?

- If people want to buy the stock (higher demand), the price goes up.

- Company News: News about earnings, new products, or scandals can impact demand.
- Economic Situation: When the economy is growing, people generally invest more, which raises stock prices.
- Speculation: Sometimes investors buy stocks just because they believe the price will rise, which causes the price to increase.
