Squeeze / low float
Min tier Elite
A ranking of likeliest short-squeeze candidates — float, FTD, DPI and momentum.
A verified squeeze strategy at the top (short pressure + breakout, live + backtest), then a sortable candidate table with Squeeze Score, FTD trend, DPI and interpretation. Note: the page admits it has no true short interest — it is a low-float screener.
🎯 How to use (step by step)
Sort by Squeeze Score descending; top 5 = strongest. · Avoid micro-caps (<$500M, illiquid). · Look for Float Ratio >30% + positive 1-month momentum.
💰 What you get
You find "powder keg" stocks before they pop using 4 indicators at once.
⚠ The figures in the card below are a BACKTEST, not live results
The return, index outperformance, profit factor and win rate in the "Squeeze Breakout" card come from a 2020-2026 historical simulation over 65 trades. Live tracking has not closed a single trade yet — collection started 2026-06-08 (249 open detections) and the first closed results cannot exist before early August 2026, because the pattern holds for up to 60 days. Until then there is no live evidence — only the backtest, on a small sample with a −63% drawdown.
Note: two different signals on one page. The "Squeeze Breakout" card and the ranking below are two separate calculations. The ranking uses its own heuristic (FTD + short interest + off-exchange volume + momentum) that is neither backtested nor tracked and has no measured success rate. The figures in the card above say nothing about the ranking below.
A stock under heavy short pressure (high off-exchange short-volume share) whose price just broke out (+20% in 20 days) → shorts are forced to cover = squeeze. Replaces the old "Squeeze Radar".
📡 Current detections (pattern)
No stock currently meets both conditions (high short pressure + breakout).
📈 Live track record building — every signal tracked 60d out-of-sample.

📊 Short-Interest Pressure Monitor
A descriptive ranking of stocks by short-side pressure indicators — combines FTD trend (FINRA RegSHO failure-to-deliver), off-exchange DPI, short interest, days to cover, liquidity, historical volatility and relative volume. A higher score means more observed pressure conditions are present; it does not estimate the probability or direction of a future price move. Updated daily. An analytical tool, not a trade instruction.
💡
What is a short squeeze: Mechanics: when a heavily-shorted stock starts rising, short positions tend to be closed by buying back → a temporary demand increase. An FTD spike (failure-to-deliver) 5-30 days ahead has historically coincided with elevated short-side pressure. This is descriptive context, not an estimate of the probability or direction of a future move.

Analyzing squeeze setups...
⚠️ Analytical tool. QMA is not a registered investment advisor. Squeeze Score is a heuristic based on historical patterns — not a guarantee of future movement. Sources lag: FTD (FINRA) ~5–30 days, short interest ~30–60 days, dark pool ~1–14 days — this is not real-time data. Short squeeze trades are highly risky (volatility, losses). Not investment advice.
